Which dealer offer actually costs less over the life of the loan, and the rate at which they tie.
Personal loan calculator
Payment, total interest, and the effective APR once an origination fee is deducted from what actually reaches your account.
Debt consolidation calculator
Whether one loan actually beats paying your existing debts off as they are — measured against the best you could do without consolidating.
Auto refinance calculator
Whether refinancing your car loan is worth it — including whether a lower payment is being bought with a longer term on a depreciating asset.

Local tax in Alaska
Alaska has NO statewide sales tax — 0% explicitly, not merely unreported. Boroughs and municipalities may levy their own: of 162 municipal governments roughly 110 do, ranging from 1% to 7%, and a local sales tax is not authorised unless approved by voters. Because rates, caps and exemptions are set locally and many jurisdictions cap the taxable amount per transaction, no meaningful combined vehicle rate can be stated. Separately, Alaska DMV collects a biennial Motor Vehicle Registration Tax on behalf of municipalities that have elected it, in lieu of personal property tax; it is a flat dollar amount by location and model year, so it does not fit annualVehiclePropertyTax.
